Research Assistant
Alessio joined the lab as a research assistant in early 2025. He holds a master’s degree in Experimental and Applied Biology from the University of Pavia. After graduating, he completed a six-month internship at Aarhus University in the Translational Neuropharmacology lab, where he investigated the role of the TrkB receptor in antidepressant treatment. On weekends, he enjoys a panino con la salsiccia and a cold drink with friends by the riverside, and cheering on his favorite team during Formula 1 Grand Prix races.
