Master Student
Elena is a master’s student in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Milan. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of Genoa and during her studies she carried out her internship at the Laboratory of Immunology and Experimental Pathology at IRCCS San Martino, where she focused on the analysis of the tumor microenvironment in an in vivo model of bone metastasis from Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) using imaging techniques. When she’s not in the lab, you’ll likely find her strolling along the seafront and soaking up the sun in her beloved Genoa, exploring local markets, or planning her next trip.
